In last week's Armed Services Committee hearing, John McCain asked General George Casey whether continued Syrian assistance in or acquiescence with the flow of terrorists and weaponry across Syria and into Iraq might have to be met with operations that crossed the border into Syria. General Casey demurred on the idea of operating inside Syria as that was a political decision, but Chair of the Joint Chiefs General Richard Myers declared that that flow meant dead members of the coalition forces and was thus unacceptable. McCain appeared to concur.
Well,More cats out of the bag and now Border talk,Sryia and whether we should have soldiers go block the border or just blow them to beyond when coming thru form now on.At least that is how I take it,of what should be done."Casey Demured" As We all Have Been Demuring the whole War on Politically correct fighting when fighting a Unpolitically correct enemy.Perhaps electronic zappers would stop the crossings from the Headchopping sicko's or for the more politically correct we could zap them with tranquilizers and have machines collect them up.But wait,Syria is a pain,why not make them feel some pain? And what's the say about the Mountains on the other side?
McCain no matter what you think brings it to light and at least makes a topic.If at most. Something we should have been thinking about doing all along which makes me wonder why all this tying of our soldiers hands is just delaying things and making more deaths for us to "demurely" endure.I recall a story about the Syria border some time ago when a Wedding party got bombed and the politically correct succeeded in our "Pussyfooting" around the situation.Which brought more death.Its a desert,its got to be crazed.What good can you be out there without dying anyway? its so hot,let them go I say cutting them off is their death without our involvement. They cannot last out there so its apparently obvious that by closing the borders and patrolling the cities,nothing meanwhile can last the desert.
Bombs!! Bombs are coming from where? The Border? Who is making bombs? Syria? Who needs rewarded for giving information about bomb making? Iraqi's!
I think the Iraqi's need some more drive for fighting for themselves.Its starting to look the press needs a story so hey- Lets set some off ourselves.Maybe some Hollywood filmakers are over there getting some action in on the "Real" Set. Just some thoughts.I say we take the city's.If they are there.Cut them off and interlude.
Yes Rummy had some positive statements over the Weekend Dim Dirt Fling shows,tho I did not see them I heard a slight view of his vision for Iraq.would like to hear some more if it I think if the press actually knew how to cover a War nowdays they might assume it is the thing to do.Because I think Rummy might be right and they "fizzle out" like a dried up cactus.
Cut that border,they are dead..Moving Sryia to the Entre "Axis of Evil" might be a hint I think needs to be pushed a bit more.What threat can they be except to -send bombs thru the border. What about Saudi? Bombs coming thru? Hmmmm??
In other instances I've heard the majority provinces in Iraq are safe while - 4 of them are not. Quite interesting perhaps a solution,-seal the border and seal those provinces.Then we have sealed the terrorists. Let none out or thru with -materials.I've always said it had to be a comb situation and even tho large can be done.The count is a so called 140,000 troops the last I've heard why is there not more information on those troops? Our press is just sickening,a failure how can you sit there and watch the waste of time on TV anymore knowing this?
We need to pressure them - Hey LETS SEND THE PRESS TO IRAQ.Maybe we can DRAFT them for some coverage. SEND THEM IN.......
